Natural Born Storytellers 'Poignant Partings'

  • Aces & Eights Saloon Bar 156-158 Fortess Road London, England, NW5 2HP United Kingdom (map)

Sometimes we all have to say goodbye to something or someone we love. These moments have a great depth, a meaning that  transcends what we can appreciate at the time. Tonight we're sharing our stories of these moments; times we've parted ways with someone. Maybe we expected to see them again? Maybe it was the last time we saw them alive. Or the last time we saw them in love? Or as the person we remembered them. Maybe it was a place that we departed from for the last time, or with a person you had created memories with there. Perhaps you had to let go of an object, a treasured item, a piece of clothing or even a vehicle or secret you'd kept bottled inside. We can guarantee that you'll devour each and every one of the sumptuous stories told at the friendliest true storytelling night in London and we'll part ways with a level of poignance that one day, maybe, you'll turn into a story yourself.

Our true storytelling shows are friendly, open, intimate and honest and the stories moving, life-affirming, shocking, captivating or just plain hilarious. It's different to a comedy show where the expectation is laughter... here laughter comes, but it's a part of a whole breadth of other emotions and reactions to the stories and it makes for a rich, fulfilling evening's entertainment. So come on down and experience one of the friendliest and most memorable nights of true-life storytelling.

Anyone from the audience is encouraged to share true stories alongside our pre-booked and regular storytellers. There is a great mix of stage experience on offer and it really adds to the spontaneity of the evening.

We'd love you to get involved, whether it's sharing a story, suggesting a theme or simply listening to our stories. If you have a story you'd like to tell tonight or on any of our upcoming themes, please get in touch with us with an outline of your story and the theme you think it fits best.

“This was one hell of an evening. Like really properly captivating stories that enthralled, moved, tickled, challenged and above all entertained. Such a brilliant event”

We also have a podcast where we introduce and honour a selection of stories told at our nights, which we think you'll love! You can find them all at www.naturalbornstorytellers.com/podcast
